These color changing coasters are battery powered, no need to run an electrical cord to an outlet. The color changing LED slowly alternates through a rainbow spectrum of colors. This product is water resistant and includes a pressure sensitive 'on' button. 60+ hours on one battery with an LED life of approximately 100,000 hours.
